| My ping seems normal:
64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=207 ttl=45 time=242 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=208 ttl=45 time=244 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=209 ttl=45 time=251 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=210 ttl=45 time=247 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=211 ttl=45 time=242 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=212 ttl=45 time=253 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=213 ttl=45 time=237 ms 64 bytes from 184.75.213.146: icmp_req=214 ttl=45 time=249 ms
But the openvpn always gave me connection failed by timeout. I have tried all the counties...

But the openvpn always gave me connection failed by timeout. I have tried all the counties... As luck would have it, one of our dev team members is currently in the process of updating the Ubuntu installer, config files, and whatnot. I suspect the config files you're pulling from the network aren't current with the just-being-rolled-out upgrades to the auth process network-wide. That's my read of the tea leaves, in any case. If you want to email me, I can get you in direct touch with the developer spearheading this client upgrade for Ubuntu - I expect he'd be happy to have someone to test the config updates along with him. If you're interested. If not, just let me know and I'll simply ensure you get the results of the upgrade to the Ubuntu installer just as soon as they roll out. Cheers, - Pt_jD

| Ok, so if you take a peek at the thread announcing the Cryptocloud Dashboard in the new forum, there's now new links to the certificates needed for the Ubuntu client configuration. Those certs should - and I do emphasize should, as I've not yet personally tested them - have all the required new data for connections. We've still got an open project to produce a proper Ubuntu installer and that's in process. No ETA on a public beta, but as soon as there is we'll announce it in the new forum. So if you have a minute to grab those new cert files and give 'em a run, let me know how it goes. Cheers, - Pt_jD | |
