Setting up P2P Empty
PostSubject: Setting up P2P   Setting up P2P EmptyTue Jun 12, 2012 12:28 pm

First you must log into the customer center found here: https://cryptocloud (dot) com/members/login.php

On that page you will see: Your forwarded port (TCP and UDP) on all of our servers is: xxxxx which is your personal port number. We have blocked our ability to see that number, it is hashed for us. This is the number you will place in your specific file sharing program.

Common setup for these types of programs:

1. Open the program

2. Select 'options' and then 'preferences'

3. Choose 'connections' and there you will see a box where you can add the number from the customer center. Make sure you save it and press 'OK'

Now you need to go back to the Cryptocloud Customer Center and choose 'Change Country Preferences' . Look through the list and choose one that allows p2p. Save your choice and your ready to go! Wink

Setting up P2P Empty
PostSubject: Re: Setting up P2P   Setting up P2P EmptyWed Jun 13, 2012 3:47 pm

I logged on and found my port number and entered it in my p2p program. Fails port test. I cannot go any further because NONE of the links on your page, including the link to your p2p article in the knowledge base work. They ALL return a "license expired" error message when I click on them.

There is nothing about "change country preferences" on any page I am able to load.

I cannot download a windows client because the download link also DOES NOT work.

Help!

Let me see if I can help

There is only one link and if you look closely I had to write 'dot' instead of . as our forum does not allow url's to be posted. It seems however you got into the customer center and saw your port, did you happen to look three lines below that? It says 'change country preferences' . When you click there it will probably make you sign in again to change countries- please do this while disconnected from the service.

Have you gone to our homepage to do this?

Have you set up an account with us, can you PM me your user id?

I'm doing it this way:

My country pref is NL, Start Cryptocloud, Connect, put the forwarded port in my p2p program. Done.

Don't even have to forward the port in my router which i think is kinda weird.

But i guess the forwarded port gets redirected through the VPN Client which works with standard ports.

I am so sorry, but I had CryptoCloud and Encryptica confused! My problem is with the Encryptica page and NOT with CryptoCloud. Thank you for the offer of help though. Again, I apologize to CryptoCloud.
