PostSubject: Updates to our p2p port forwarding availability.   Sun Apr 22, 2012 12:09 am

Hi Everyone,

Due to never ending arguments with our server providers regarding "illegal" P2P activity, we have decided to disable port forwarding on some of our servers to avoid any potential downtime as well as to protect our users.

The servers affected are located in:
+ UK
+ Switzerland

Port forwarding has also been (preemptively) disabled on the following servers:
+ US West Coast
+ France (due to the new HADOPI law)

Port forwarding will *not* work if you use any of the servers above. In other words, torrent clients, eMule, KaaZa and any other P2P clients will not function properly. We advise you to use any of our other servers (some of our customers have reported excellent speeds on our Dutch servers)

We have not encountered any problems with the rest of our providers, and as such port forwarding will remain active on the following servers:
+ Netherlands
+ Luxembourg
+ Germany
+ Russia
+ US East Coast

We recommend you switch to one of these servers if you would like to continue using P2P clients.

Please note that this does not affect your ability to watch the local (online) TV channels using the affected UK / CH / FR / US west coast servers

Regards,
Haze
